Race 4 life 118 Girls

Hello!!

This is my first post and i have nearly had this blog for a month which isn't a very good start but if i dont do one now then lucy will kill me!!

Anyway me and one of my bestest friends lucy, did the race 4 life on the downs the other weekend, we ran the whole thing and finished at 36 minutes which we were very pleased about. We dressed up as 118 men and got lots of funny looks and people laughing at us! The picture as you can probably tell was before the race!! My mum and her friend Denise also did the race for life for the 5th year in a row, they walked it and finished at 56 minutes. We really enjoyed it and raised a lot of money for cancer research! We could hear lots of people behind us muttering 'ooh 118 people, there good arn't they?' and 'Nice outfit' 'Go Girls' 'Go afros' etc. but these words really encouraged us to run even faster!! Towards the end though i was running like an old women bent over and felt very tired. Lucy's Mum and dad came up to watch us and took some great action shots, here are some of them...
